![]() Know Your Customer Checklist Identity Verification RequirementsWhere a customer fails to meet our e-identity requirements, the acceptance will include details of the documentation we will require to complete the identity verification process. In this situation, we will generally ask for signed and certified copies of the following documents: 1) An original government-issued document which incorporates the customer’s full name and photograph, and either their residential address or date of birth. e.g. Current full, signed, valid passport OR 2) An original government-issued document (without a photograph) which incorporates the customer’s full name e.g. Current valid non-photocard driving licence AND A second government-issued document or document issued by other selected sources which incorporates the customer’s full name and either their residential address or date of birth. e.g. Utility bill dated within the last 3 months The wording to be used for certifying the documentation is: ‘I certify that the identity proofs are first copies from the original documents seen by me and I have checked the Customer’s signature.’ If you are in any doubt please contact either your Relationship Manager or alternatively a member of the Credit or Sales Support teams. |
